SOLVO Brings TOS-Powered Automation to Sea Port of Saint Petersburg

11 December 2015

SOLVO has started a partnership with Sea port of Saint Petersburg. The automation of processes at the container terminal is expected to begin before the end of the year.

SOLVO will implement the Solvo.TOS terminal operating system that will enable automation of accounting and planning of container and transport vehicle processing at the terminal. The system will also keep record of all commercial operations involving transport and container processing, which is required to settle with clients (agents and forwarders) for subsequent billing for rendered services.

Sea port of Saint Petersburg -- part of the UCL Port stevedoring division of the UCL Holding transport group – is the largest universal operator on the territory of the city’s main port, offering cargo handling services for all types of dry goods. In 2014, the company’s turnover comprised 8.1 million tons.
