SOLVO.TOS to be Deployed at 'Bronka' Port

SOLVO has signed a contract with the port operator-developer Fenix to implement the Solvo.TOS terminal operating system at a newly developed

"Bronka" port. The state-of-the-art modern port is currently being constructed in Saint Petersburg near the St. Petersburg dam to solve the problem of port capacity deficiency in the North-West region of the Russian Federation. Bronka is thought to host the largest container terminal in Russia with projected turnover of 3 mln TEU/year by 2022.

Solvo.TOS was selected as the leading solution on the Russian TOS market -more than 20 large ports and terminals currently use Solvo.TOS. The first talks between "Bronka" port and Fenix were held 5 years ago prior to the building of the terminal. It should be noted that the consultation and expert support for the "Port Bronka" project was given by the Hamburg Port Consulting GmbH (HPC) company, which offers its own TOS class solutions. In result of the tender process with their German colleagues, Fenix opted in favor of SOLVO due to its greater adaptability to the Russian stevedoring business.
