Another Notch on the Belt for SOLVO:

This summer, Yarfarma selected the WMS-solution from SOLVO for their integrated warehouse complex automation project.

Yarfarma is one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in Yaroslavl, Kostroma, and Vologda oblasts. The company is one of the main suppliers for line operation sections and small-scale wholesale warehouses with over 2,000 clients.

The company has an A-class warehouse with an area of around 3,000 square meters for 864 pallet racks, located in the city of Yaroslavl.

To swiftly react and respond to client demands, Yarfarma decided to fully automate its warehouse operations, which prompted the search for a capable WMS-system.

During the tender process, Yarfarma put forth the following requirements: high-quality order assembly, SKU tracking as well as the reduction of write-offs (incomplete orders). The final choice was made in favor of SOLVO.

Warehouse characteristics
The modern warehouse complex is divided into four zones, which have their own separate facilities. The first zone is used for pallet storage while the remaining three are for carton (shelf) storage.
