SOLVO at the YugTrans 2013 International Transportation Forum SOLVO, the leading developer of port, terminal, and warehouse automation solutions, has taken part at the YugTrans 2013 International Transportation Forum, which was held for the ninth time on March 21st-22nd 2013 on the Black Sea coast city of Gelendzhik. The forum is traditionally hosted by the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency of Russia’s Ministry of Transport.
The forum turned out to be a large turnout of professionals from the transportation industry including representatives from governmental and commercial bodies, stevedoring and rail companies, cargo owners as well as leading industry-specific consultants. The forum was a huge success with more than 100 participants from Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Germany in attendance and with 25 seminars presented by leading experts.
One of the forum’s highlights included the head of the analytics and consulting department at SOLVO, Maxim Maximov, who discussed the current trends on port and terminal operator market, made predictions for stevedores for the near future, presented possible solutions for potential problems and shed light on how these challenges can be met using SOLVO technology – automated port and container terminal management system, Solvo.TOS.
