One-of-a-Kind Demo Warehouse Operating Under Solvo.WMS at the Warehouse. Transport. Logistics 2014 Exhibition

SOLVO is taking active part at the InnoSklad forum as part of the biggest industry-specific exhibition: Warehouse. Transport. Logistics 2014, which will be held October 21 -24 in Moscow at the Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnya in pavilion 1.

As part of the InnoSklad program, some unique demo-warehouses with an area of 400 square meters will be operating in Russia for the first time in history. These will be used to demonstrate models of the latest technologies, equipment, innovations, and logistics solutions, which today are applied at state of the art warehouse for processing various loads and cargo flows –all of which is, of course, managed by Solvo.WMS

Solvo.WMS will inititate workflow of main load handling processes at the demo-warehouse related to RFID systems when receiving and picking, management of pallets and container transfers from the storage zone to picking and packing zones with a Pallet Shuttle, management of conveyors and Pick-to-light and Voice-picking systems, as well as management of gravitational racks and various types of warehouse equipment.

At 12:20 on October 22 in pavilion 1, entry ‘D’, conference hall 1, Illyas Ahmetshin, project manager at SOLVO, along with a representative from the DKC will present at the “WMS EXPO: Warehouse automation and Selecting an IT-supplier” conference with a report titled Yard Management Technology at Electronic Goods Production Warehouse Case Study.
