Trans-Caspian digitalization event hosted by Solvo and DBA attracted 600+ attendees

21 October 2020

On October 8, a large-scale online conference organized by Transport Events, sponsored and co-organized by SOLVO and the Italian DBA Group, took place. The event was dedicated to the development and digitalization of trade logistics in the Caspian region. The conference was attended by about 600 listeners from Russia, Europe, Asia, America, and Africa and 10 speakers from different countries, including SOLVO and representatives of port and railway operators of the Caspian and Trans-Caspian regions.

As noted by many of the event participants representing this region, there is a great interest in the joint development and implementation of modern technologies, which will reduce costs, establish interaction along the entire logistics chain, and increase the efficiency of work and the quality of services provided.

Daniel Pershin, Marketing Director of SOLVO, in his presentation told about the possibilities and benefits of digitalization for companies in this region and about the current integration project of creating a single digital space for messaging between the ports of Baku and Aktau organized by SOLVO and its partner - DBA Group. In the future, it is planned to expand this platform by including other participants in it.

The main advantage of the future unified information system for logistics operators in the region is the principle of "one window", which allows quick and easy information exchange that saves time and resources and enables to receive the necessary information on time for the implementation of logistics operations.  Daniel also presented some SOLVO’s automation projects that already successfully implemented in such countries as Kazakhstan, Armenia, Russia, Ukraine and in neighboring regions.

The group of companies is interested in cooperation with SOLVO and the integration of their systems.
