From October 17-18th, SOLVO will take part in a one-of-a-kind summit on the African continent, the Africa Ports and Rail Summit, which will be held in the exotic city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Today, the international community is keeping a close eye on the ports across Africa, which is experiencing rapid growth due to an influx of investments along with active development and construction of new terminals. With increasing cargo turnover and financial activity, there is now growing demand and interest in terminal operating systems (TOS).

This topic will be covered in detail by the head of the marketing department at SOLVO, Daniel Pershing, in a report titled “Tailoring Your Operations to the Changing Needs of the Port Industry.”

The presentation will be held on October 18th at 12:40.

For SOLVO, the summit is a key component of a business strategy focusing on growth and the entry into rapidly developing markets. The summit will also present the company with first-hand insight into the inner workings of African ports and terminals, facilitate partner relations, attract potential clients, and promote SOLVO solutions on the rapidly growing African market.

The biggest annual port and rail summit in Africa has attracted delegates from some of the biggest ports and companies in Africa and the world who are striving to develop and expand ports and rail lines on the African continent. The Africa Ports and Rail Summit will not only give participants a special platform to share experiences, exchange ideas and solutions but also build mutually beneficial partner relations.
