Receiving of materials

  • Receiving of a purchase order through the gateway from the HS.
  • Creation of a purchase order by manager in WMS without data from HS.
  • Launching processing of material receipt upon manager’s command: formation of work for RDT.
  • Printing a receiving log.
  • Receipt into receiving locations (zone with locations or unlimited capacity zone).
  • Receipt in storage locations.
  • Receipt of specific category SKUs (defective, damaged, etc.) followed by putting away into separate zones.

  • Work assignment on paper in the form of on-paper pick lists (depending on the rules of work formation).

  • Computer-aided formulation of counting work assignment in case of problems with loads.

Architecture and configuration

  • Various rules for flexible change for the system operation mode depending of the warehouse architecture. All rules allow setting load filtration by type of material, storage terms, material form, hazard category, load category, owner and manufacturer.
    • Rules governing accommodation by zones.
    • Routing rules: allow putting away of SKUs via transit locations to be used for different transport types.
    • Compatibility rules allow storage of materials in one location.
    • Zone putaway rules: setting up picking and storage zones, relocation from upper tiers for the purposes of picking or relocation to other zones.
    • Displacement rules: in case a zone is overfilled the software allows computer-aided relocation of loads into other zones or tiers.
    • Certification and document management rules: setting up a demand for checking of certifying documents at the receiving and loading times including all kinds of documents.
    • Planning rules: setting up SKU search for orders by expiry date rotation, shipment shelf life, batch and lot control and stock ownership, planning mode, restrictions for picking zones.
    • Rules for work formulation: allows setting up work type and zone, means for work formulation and assignment (RDT and paper pick-lists).
  • Instrument for location grouping into additional zones in the hierarchical order to be subsequently used in the rules.
  • Function of expanding and changing of the warehouse geometry: new racks, zone and locations.
