Container Terminal Management System
Architecture

Application server
The planner (planning system) is located on the application server. It's responsible for operative event processing, container move process optimization and task generation for terminal operators (container receivers/senders, straddle carriers drivers and dispatchers.
Data base server
DBMS is located on the Data base server where the data necessary for the system operation are stored.
Report modulus
Report modulus supports the generation of various reports (including not mandatory) used for container processing technology.
The list of available report documentation is established with the customer. The reports can be exported into any format (MS Word, Excel and others) at the customer's option and when necessary to be sent through e-mail.
SQL scripts or standard report generators (Crystal Reports and others) are used for generation of the reports. Solvo.CTMS allows monitoring all operations performed in the terminal during any period of time by executive level management.
Graphic terminal representation modulus
To make it user friendly, the terminal layout can be presented in Solvo.CTMS as two-dimensional image. Graphic representation can be displayed on PC screens and shows terminal areas, stowed containers and CHE position. Upon querying location data, the system provides a list of containers that are kept in the location as well as detailed information on the containers.
Workplaces of RF terminals (RDT) operators
Workplaces of RF terminals (RDT) operators in the system. Operators workplaces in the system are txt forms designed specially for RF terminals. It allows minimizing manual data input and provides security from input errors.
Workplaces of dispatchers
Dispatchers' workplaces are allocated on clients workstations integrated with application server and database server. A dispatcher is provided with a set of graphic tools, which allows supervision and management of operations in the terminal to make managerial decisions, handle exceptional situations, plan operations on container move within the terminal and set up the planer.
