Upgrade of Solvo.WMS system in the warehouse of “I.T.I.”
The project of scheduled upgrade of Solvo.WMS system in the warehouse of “I.T.I.” has been successfully completed.
The company “SOLVO” has completed the project on upgrade of Solvo.WMS, which automates operation of the warehouse of “I.T.I." company – the major supplier of stationery and paper-stationary to the Russian market.
Implementation of the system in the warehouse of JSC "I.T.I." was performed in 2005. The automation object is the warehouse the total area of which is 9000 sq. meters, with a capacity of 8000 pallet boxes and 5500 boxed cells.
In 2009 the scheduled upgrade of the system integrated in the warehouse was carried out. A new release was started up in the warehouse during 4 days. Another version has the wider functionality which enables increase of the warehouse productivity.
While speaking about the project, the chief of the Warehouse Logistics Department, Alexander Krivovyaz, marked:
“According to the comparative analysis of the WMS functionality of the 3 leading market players which I made the last year, I can make a conclusion that Solvo.WMS system is rather notable for the completeness of the functionality, a set of powerful strategies used in the options of processes of goods locations and planning as well as stability and high efficient performance.
All our requirements and wishes have been included into the new release”.
The system guarantees the high level control over shipments movement and warehouse operations performance.
Activation of selection channels fulfillment as many other routine operations in the system is carried out by the group command and that significantly saves working time of the personnel.
Management of selection channels fulfillment process is arranged more efficiently. Flexibility in options of the system rules, the wide functionality provides the process of orders completing. Availability of operative statistics at any time enables the warehouse manager to redistribute human and technical resources between the technological zones depending on the current production load.
Another innovation is a powerful tool of the users’ reports generation. Any data from the database of the system can be used in order to generate analytical or statistical reports. The interface allows any employee to use these reports.
It also can be noted that “SOLVO" improves the quality of work with clients: addresses into the Support Service are handled within the time specified by the contract. After thorough working out the client receives a qualified answer or a solution of the problem.
The management system guarantees implementation of all the operations in the warehouse, control over the accurate assembly of orders, it reduces the quality of additional works concerned with moving the goods. The efficiency of the warehouse operation and the quality of the customers’ service is increasing.
