«Vostochnaya Stevedoring company LLC» integrated developed by the company “SOLVO” Solvo.CTMS software into the system of automated accounting of stevedoring operations, terminal processes and warehousing container cargo on the territory of the terminal. Automated management processes were modified within the VSC investment program.
SOLVO.CTMS system in a real-time mode provides operative accounting and control over warehousing operations, follows all the procedures related to ships processing and internal movement around the territory of the terminal. SOLVO.CTMS provides operative control and planning processes of containers
SOLVO.CTMS provides the operative control and planning the processes of containers loading/unloading in the railroad zone of the terminal, arranges arrival and loading/unloading of the specialized vehicle moving containers, and also this system allows to monitor and take into account containers passing the procedures of customs survey including IEC (Inspection and Examination Complex).
SOLVO.CTMS operates in conjunction with the primary automatic process control system such as “Container” (APCS “Container”) providing all the terminal processes of VICS and interaction between other participants of transport relationship working in the terminal.
As the general director of “Vostochnaya Stevedoring company LLC” John Skurtis declares, introduction of a new IT system enables the company to optimize the quality of production processes management – to reduce expenses, to increase rapidity of containers processing, rationality of machinery use in the terminal. The program fulfills the entire set of tasks – from EDM (electronic documentation system) up to ships processing management and moving containers round the terminal. For example, warehousing is now being accomplished by the integrated program taking into account intended export – according to the time and direction. The CEO considers that in general integrated automation of the containers accounting is an additional competitive advantage of VICS.

Installation of operative management system Solvo.CTMS not only expanded the geography of implementations in the Far Eastern region but also promoted the further development of the system functionality. Since 90% of containers shipping in the VICS terminal are shipped by railway, our specialists have significantly improved the technology of loading on the railway front in order to enhance its operation and increase the throughout capacity. Implementation of the operative management system is another step towards improving the efficiency of the VICS terminal operation”, says the director of the company.
