"SOLVO" successfully completed the project at the warehouse in the manufacture of “Lebedianskiy” JSC
The warehouse in the manufacture of “Lebedianskiy” JSC started to work under Solvo.WMS operation.
The company “Solvo” declares the performance and completion of the project on management system implementation at the warehouse of the “Lebedianskiy” plant (Lebedian city, Lipetsk region).
In 2006 Solvo.WMS was chosen by the corporate standard for "Lebedianskiy" JSC. The Company management personnel intends to implement the system at all the warehouses of the enterprise.
One more project was carried out for removed warehouse in the manufacture which area is 10,5 thous. square km designed for 29 thous. locations for pallets. Narrow-hole and full-hole racks were installed at the warehouse. The basic type of storage in the area of full-hole racks is pallet & box, narrow-hole – only pallet.
This project is standard for SOLVO as there is industry business solution for warehouses in the drinks manufacture. This solution was formed on basis of numerous successful implementations.
It was necessary to solve the following tasks: implementation of zone and bin location warehousing, storage operation adhering to all standards typical for food production (shelf life accounting, shipping on the principle of FEFO), control of acceptance the production supplied from manufacture, external supplies accounting. Organization of following technologies support: bar coding, radio equipment operations.
Prototype system operation at this warehouse has demonstrated that Solvo.WMS copes with set up tasks successfully and on March, 10 the contract of system transfer into operation and maintenance phase was accepted and signed.
Evaluating the results of system implementation at the warehouse, Mikhail A. Abdilladzhanov, Deputy Director on Logistics of “Lebedianskiy” JSC, mentions efficiency growth of warehouse capacity, organization of shipment according to the products shelf life, on the principle of FEFO, separation of order batching area allowing to make shipments by complete and pre-fabricated pallets.
Cooperation between "SOLVO" and "Lebedianskiy" is in the further plans. The project on warehouse automation for 50 thous. locations for pallets is to be completed by the end of 2009. Solvo.WMS will be the leading system for automate WMS - Ant SSI Schaefer - at this project, integration will be performed with different types of equipment applied at the enterprise such as automated conveyor, printers-applicators and etc.
