Recap: SOLVO at TransLogistica 2018

The 19th of April marked the end of this year’s TransRussia/TransLogistica 2018 event, where SOLVO took active part, welcoming clients and visitors at its stand. Attendees got the chance to to get acquainted with the companies new services, products, solutions and projects as well as chat with company representatives. 

Among the new offerings from SOLVO included:

1)      New version of SOLVO.TOS 6.0 for automating processes at ports, container and cargo terminals, with new features for handling general and container cargo in a single system, alongside updated Billing and Cargoplan modules, etc.;

2)      New version of Solvo.WMS 5.5, which now includes support for working with the free Postgres DBMS; ability for operators to use Android OS devices; seamless integration with new version of Solvo.Yard yard management system, and much more;

Partner solutions with which Solvo is integrated include:

3)      New software-hardware complex Infoscan 3D from Infotech for determining cargo weight and dimensions;

4)      Container optical character recognition (OCR) technology from Visy based on the new heavy-duty Panasonic Toughbook tablet.

This year, SOLVO used special terminal for automatic registration and visitor statistics tracking, which simplifies data capture and exchange with potential clients and partners.

During the business program at TransRussia 2018, the editors of RZD-Partner magazine organized an “OPEN-DIALOGUE” interview, where SOLVO's business director, Maxim Maximov, took active part as an IT expert during the “Blockchain-technology in the transportation industry” session.

Additionally, this year, SOLVO took a creative approach towards its stand concept with a space theme, symbolizing the company’s ethos towards pursuing technological innovation in logistics as SOLVO is not only a developer of information systems for logistics, but a fully-fledged systems integrator capable of tackling mass-scale infrastructure projects.
